Fan Zhang, Ph.D. (she/her/hers) is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Department of Bioengineering at University of Washington, working with Dr. Kelly R. Stevens. Fan received her Ph.D. degree in Fiber and Polymer Science under the direction of Dr. Martin King at North Carolina State University, engineering fiber-reinforced hydrogel for macrophage polarization and promote vascularization. Her interdisciplinary work bridges several facets of regenerative medicine, including biomaterial engineering, regenerative immunology, and vascularization. Fan’s current research focuses on understanding the vascularization of engineered tissue and organ.
