I'm Kaleb Bierstedt, I am currently a second-year graduate student and graduate research assistant in the Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering. I received undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Iowa. My current work focuses on pulmonary organ-on-a-chip models under the direction of my PI Yuliang Xie. Our lab works as a part of the Lung Biology and Cystic Fibrosis Research Center at the Carver College of Medicine.
