Katherine Meinhold has a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering from NC State University and is a 3rd year graduate student in the Robinson Lab at the University of Washington. Her primary research focus is on optimization of electrospinning processes to create synthetic scaffolds for use in in vitro studies on mechanosensitive pathways in cells native to fibrous tissues.
