Jouha Min is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Min holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, as well as MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Her academic background also includes postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she gained invaluable experience in the biotech industry.
Dr. Min's research group is dedicated to developing cutting-edge biomaterials and biosensors that are grounded in fundamental chemical engineering principles, with the goal of creating robust engineering solutions to significant health problems such as cancer and life-threatening infectious diseases. For some of the ongoing efforts, the Min group has recently received the Discovery Award from the UM Rogel Cancer Center and the V Scholar award from the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
