My name is Robert Theisen and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Biomedical Engineering department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am a member of the Arnold Lab where our focus is on utilizing systems biology techniques to investigate the immune system and various diseases. My research is focused on understanding individual variability in immune responses to vaccination with an emphasis on how vaccine induced responses recruit innate immune cells in defense against viral infections. Outside of the lab, you can find me playing pickup soccer or cheering on the Michigan Wolverines in The Big House. Go Blue!
