Andrea Jacobson is a first-year PhD student in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan studying functional and difusion MRI for detecting Alzheimer's disease. During her undergraduate, she worked with Dr. Surwoiec as a research assistant in the Quantitative Imaging and Spectral Technologies lab at IUPUI studying methods to assess parameters of bone health with high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) and ultra short echo time magnetic resonance imaging (UTE MRI).
