Fraser Douglas (MEng) is a biomedical engineering PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia specialising in high-density surface electromyography for stroke rehabilitation. With an MEng degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Fraser's background was in surface electromyography for upper-limb prosthesis control, but in the past two years since commencing his PhD he has been exploring how this same technology may be applied in informing rehabilitation progress.
