Lexie (Alexis) Scholtz is a Biomedical Engineering PhD Student in the Armani Lab at the University of Southern California whose research focuses on designing instrumentation and optical sensing systems for various biomedical applications. Prior to graduate school, she spent four years in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins University where she played NCAA basketball and graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. She also earned her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. When not in the lab, Lexie can be found either playing or coaching on a basketball court or exploring the outdoors with her partner and two rescue dogs.
