Shuai Shao is currently a third-year Ph.D. student from Dr. Caroline Jones's Lab of Immunoengineering at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research focuses on developing microphysiological platforms to investigate the role of neutrophils in the solid tumor microenvironment and to evaluate novel cancer immunotherapies based on neutrophils. He gained his B.A. degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University before pursuing his Ph.D. at UT Dallas.
