Dr. Joon Ho Park is a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at UC San Diego in Nano Engineering Department. His PhD work focused on designing genetically engineered cell membrane-coated nanoparticles for enhanced drug delivery which was published in prominent peer-reviewed journals such as Science Advances and Angewandte Chemie. He is now working in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the mentorship of Prof. Paula T. Hammond. His research interest spans from engineering nano carriers for enhanced drug delivery to understanding the therapeutic mechanisms and exploring their biomedical applications. His current research focuses on engineering disease modifying osteoarthritis drug using dendrimer-conjugated therapeutic proteins and their clinical translation.
