Olawale Alimi earned Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Veterinary Surgery degrees from Usmanu Danfodiyo University in 2013 and 2021 respectively. He joined the service of the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2016 where he taught various topics in veterinary surgery with research focus on bone regeneration and repair.
He joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE in the Fall, of 2021 for his PhD degree and joined Dr. Bin Duan’s lab. His doctoral research focuses on engineering approaches to denervated muscle regeneration.
