Nick is currently a Biomedical engineering student at the University of North Dakota where he works for the Computational Research Center. He is a National Steering committee member for AIHEC focused on advanced manufacturing training and education, and on the Editorial Council for AISES Winds of Change Engineering Magazine. He graduated with an associate degree in engineering from Cankdeska Cikana Community College located on the Spirit Lake Nation. He instructs for his Alma mater in Advanced Manufacturing and 3D modeling utilizing an ungraded approach with a Project based learning model. He is spear-heading an effort connect the Tribal colleges and Universities to forge long lasting and productive collaborative relationships. Nick found some of his hard work coming to fruition this year in the form of a NASA Research grant being selected for funding that he will serve as the Research and Development lead.
