Zhongyue Guo is currently a 5th year PhD student in the lab of Dr. Ji-Xin Cheng at Boston University in Massachusetts, United States. Her research interests include the applications of mid-infrared photothermal microscopy to living systems, ranging from single bacteria, yeasts to neurons and tissues. Her current focus is on reveal the protein secondary structure to better understand protein aggregation underlying many neurodegenerative diseases.
