Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the Virginia Tech – Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences program (SBES) studying the dynamic physiologic response to traumatic injuries, with a particular focus on hemorrhagic shock. The goal of my group's research is to understand key biological events following major hemorrhage to potentially intervene and help improve patient outcomes using devices like REBOA. My research focuses developing mathematical models and algorithms to process the large hemodynamic datasets to quantifiably understand the effects of each device.
