Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Student
BMES Brown
My name is Angelina Schorr, I am a Sc.B. Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Brown University and a member of Brown BMES, with an expected graduation year of 2024. Since the fall of 2021, I have worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Srivastava Lab on a project that aims to design pH-regulating hydrogels to improve the efficacy of chemotherapeutics. Over the summer of 2022, I held a full-time summer research position working with a third year Ph.D. student and a fellow undergrad. I continue to work in this position part time during the school year. This summer and fall semester, I am working as a MSRP Research Intern at MIT in the Hansen Lab where I am working on characterizing and validating bidirectional promoters for coexpression of mammalian transgenes. I plan to pursue a PhD after graduation.
