Biomedical Engineering PhD Candidate
Vanderbilt University
Dalton J. Nelson is a PhD Candidate of Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. As a member of the Haselton Lab, Dalton's research focuses on diagnostic and detection strategies for resource-constrained settings and applications. Particularly, Dalton's work has focused on molecular-based assays designed to detect single nucleotide variations in pathogens. Further, Dalton seeks to enhance accessibility of the molecular assays by implementation of various processing strategies and use of microparticles.
