Srinivasa Pujari is a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering Department at MIT. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India in 2016. He received his Master's in Chemical Engineering Practice (MSCEP) from MIT in 2019. His thesis project involves addressing the tissue vascularization problem by 3D printing mechanically robust, high-resolution, flexible, perfusable, synthetic vasculature arrays using 3D printing. For my thesis, I mainly focused on vascularizing brain organoids and liver organoids. He obtained a minor in Machine learning and Data mining as part of his Ph.D. program at MIT. He also has the experience of working in the industry before starting my Ph.D. program. He did industrial internships in pharmaceutical and fertilizer companies while he was doing his undergraduate studies at IIT Kharagpur, India. He worked in a petroleum refinery simulations team for 8 months after his undergraduate studies. As part of his MSCEP program at MIT, he worked as an intern at Shell Research Centre, Houston for two months and at Emirates Global Aluminium, Dubai for another two months.
