Soheyl Mirzababaei is a graduate student in Dr. Kozminsky’s lab at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Iowa State University. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology. He then pursued his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tehran, where he used PVA/chitosan electrospun nanofibers for enzyme immobilization. He is currently working on developing high-throughput in vitro models of different tumor microenvironments using DNA-directed patterning. He received Gerald T. and Barbara J. Montgomery Graduate Fellowship in Chemical and Biological Engineering fro the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Iowa State University.
