Postdoctoral Research Scholar
Washington University in St. Louis
Leila Saleh is a postdoctoral researcher working in the laboratory of Dr. Farshid Guilak at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in chemical engineering under Dr. Stephanie Bryant from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2020, where her thesis work focused on understanding and controlling the foreign body response to tissue engineering constructs. Leila has continued to work at the intersection of immunology and tissue engineering in her current work investigating cell-based drug delivery constructs for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Leila will be returning to CU Boulder as teaching faculty this spring!
