Christian Lewis is a Ph.D. student in Dr. Robert Bowles lab at University of Utah from Gig Harbor, Washington. Before coming to Utah, Christian completed dual BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering at Montana State University. In his Ph.D. project, Christian is now using CRISPR epigenome editing to regulate the expression of target genes with the goal of developing gene therapies for degenerative back pain.
