Sarah Eldeen: 3rd year Ph.D. Student in Mathematical Computational and Systems Biology at University of California, Irvine.
Sarah is holding a B.S. in Biochemistry and an M.S. in Physics. Her academic contributions have resulted in two peer-reviewed publications before starting her Ph.D. program and recognition by American Chemical Society. Under the guidance of Dr. Elliot Botvinick in Biomedical Engineering department at UCI, Sarah started her Ph.D. journey while focusing on implementing machine learning methods to advance studies of complex biological systems. Sarah’s aspirations beyond the PhD program involves pursuing a postdoctoral position that will further prepare her for a career in academia.
