Farbod Amirghasemi is pursuing his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. He is advised by Dr. Mousavi. Farbod earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran and completed his M.S. in Bioengineering at San Diego State University, where he was awarded the Engineering Faculty Memorial and Shiley Bioengineering Scholarships. His research interests lie in developing bio-inspired wearable sensors and point-of-care diagnostic tools to improve the management of mental health and neurological disorders.
