Hannah Yankello has a BS in chemical engineering from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is currently a chemical engineering PhD student in Dr. Elizabeth Wayne's lab at Carnegie Mellon University (anticipated graduation: May 2024). Her research focuses on understanding the dynamic relationship between maternal monocytes and the placental barrier, and how these interactions change in the context of preeclampsia.
