Sarah Anne Howard is a PhD Candidate at UNC Chapel Hill studying Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics. Her research focuses on the design and development of long-acting drug delivery technologies, including injectables and wearables, with an emphasis on contraception and reproductive health. In particular, she endeavors to improve reproductive autonomy and gender equity through the creation of user-informed novel non-hormonal contraceptives for both women and men.
