Joseph Hall is a 4th year PhD Candidate in Boston Unversity's Biomedical Engineering Program. He is researching the biomechanics of disease progression in the lungs. Joseph's primary direction is utilizing subject-specific non-uniform spring network models combined with agent based modeling to capture the structural and biological mechanisms that give rise to diseases such as emphysema and pulmonary fibrosis.
