My name is Addy Bateman, I am a BioEngineering PhD student at Georgia Tech, studying wearable devices and bioelectronics in the Bio-Interfaced Translational Nanoengineering Group (https://sites.google.com/view/yeogroup/home?pli=1). My research is aimed to build implantable electronic stents to give patients and physicians the power to monitor health in real time. I'm passionate about increasing access to healthcare and hope to use my past experience in the non-profit world to build inclusive technology to give people the tools and resources they need to manage their health. I graduated in 2019 from the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I'm always open to talk about human-centered design, startups, and biomedical devices!
