Marisa Patsy is a 3rd year PhD student in the Bursac Lab at Duke University. She is currently studying the role of peripheral nervous system (PNS) innervation in cardiac and skeletal muscle function, maturation, and regeneration. She received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2021.
