Amber Detwiler is a 2nd year PhD student in the Bursac Lab at Duke University. She is currently studying the role of macrophages in dysferlinopathy for their implementation in a tissue engineered skeletal muscle model. She received her B.S. in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
