Karin Jensen, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in biomedical engineering and engineering education research at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include student mental health and wellness, engineering student career pathways, and engagement of engineering faculty in engineering education research. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, she was a teaching-track faculty member in bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for seven years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from Cornell University, a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Virginia, and completed postdoctoral training at Sanofi Oncology.
