Vera Shurygina is currently a Ph.D. student working with Professors Pamela Kreeger and Kristyn Masters at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research at UW-Madison focuses on the process of collective migration in dermal wound healing. Vera's academic journey has been profoundly intertwined with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned both her master's and bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering. Beyond her academic pursuits, Vera is an advocate for interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing. She is thrilled to present her latest findings and insights at BMES, where she will discuss her research on the role of PLC and PKC in collective migration of keratinocytes.
