Nam Phuong Nguyen, M.S. is a PhD Candidate in Molecular Engineering at the University of Washington. In her work she is studying the therapeutic role of cell-derived extracellular vesicles (EV) in injury response following neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. She has developed a novel tracking method that allows both qualitative and quantitative analysis of EV behavior in vitro and ex vivo using quantum dots and biobarcoding.
