Liz McDonough joined the Corr research team at Rensselaer Polytechnic institute as a doctoral student in 2022 with a focus on fabricating compositionally and spatially controlled, histologically relevant 3D tumor models using laser direct-write bioprinting. Her work aims to leverage these constructs to assess the influence of intra-tumoral heterogeneity on the response to HER2 drug treatment in breast cancer. Liz received her bachelor's degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies (Pre-Med) from the University of Notre Dame and her Master of Science from the State University of New York at Albany. Since 2010, she has been a significant contributor and technical leader in the development and validation of multiplexed analysis of fixed tissue samples at GE Research.
