Dr. Liang Zhu received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China in 1988, and PhD in Engineering from the City University of New York in 1995. Currently she is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Her research is focused on biotransport with clinical applications using nanotechnology, as well as engineering education to improve student retention and graduation.
