Bryan is a PhD candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Bryan earned his bachelor’s degrees at Northeastern University in chemical engineering and biochemistry. Prior to graduate school, Bryan had worked as a process engineer in biomanufacturing and process development in the cell therapy industry for two years. Bryan’s PhD project involves process development and process analytical technology integration for cell therapy manufacturing. The goal is to leverage various engineering tools to better understand, monitor, and control cell expansion processes in a dynamic culture environment, and eventually achieve quality-by-design. Currently, his platform is being applied to both mesenchymal stromal cells and CAR T cell therapies.
