Jennifer Patten is a PhD student at Temple University in the Wang MechanoBiology Lab with a research focus in modulating fibronectin mechanobiological properties for wound healing. The Wang MechanoBiology lab integrates principles from tissue engineering, biomaterials science, physics, and cell biology to develop model systems and tools that probe cell-matrix interactions for biomedical applications. Using this interdisciplinary approach, the Wang MechanoBiology Lab's aims to identify and regulate key mechanobiological drivers of a range of physiological and pathological conditions.
