Mohammad Mir is a researcher and engineer at Stevens Institute of Technology. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. His research under the guidance of Dr. Jinho Kim focused on innovative bioengineering tools and modalities for diagnosing and repairing pathological lung tissue. He previously earned his M.Sc. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Tehran and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. His research interests include lung bioengineering, lung biomechanics, lung sealants, regenerative medicine, transport in biological systems, bone tissue engineering, polymer science and engineering, and organ-on-a-chip technology.
