Doctoral Student
Georgia Institute of Technology
Angela is a 5th year PhD candidate at Georgia Tech and Emory University in Dr.Roy's lab. Her work focuses on the manufacturing of mesenchymal stromal cells and the use of techniques to non-destructively monitor the expansion process. Through this work, we hope to discover key features that can be used to predict the therapeutic capabilities of MSCs when applied to an acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) model in vitro and in vivo. Angela is also interested in building connections for future employment opportunities in the cell therapy space and beyond.
