My name is Natsuki Furukawa, currently a 5th year Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins University. I received a Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences at The University of Tokyo. I studies the role of apoptosis-signaling kinase 1 (ASK1), one of the upstream regulators of the MAPK signaling pathway, in metastasis when I was in Tokyo. I am currently working on the discovery and development of oncolytic peptides for cancer treatment.
