Hanson Lee is a biomedical engineering PhD candidate in Worcester Polytechnic Institute who currently is researching the utilization of exosomes to model neuromuscular regeneration. As an undergraduate, Hanson attended UCSD majoring biomedical engineering with internship at Scripps Research Institute, which is where he developed his passion for biomedical research. He then spent the next few years developing products for companies specializing in diagnostic ELISA kits, biological implants, and vaccines. He now currently pursues a post-graduate degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with aspiration to discover exciting therapeutic candidates for clinical problems requiring tissue engineering solutions.
