Priscilla Delgado M.S. is a PhD student in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Prior to joining the PhD program she recieived her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, and her Master's in Applied Bioengineering from the University of Washington. She is a part of the Sensors for Living Systems Lab at Emory University under the leadership of David R. Myers. There she works on developing microfluidic systems for the detection of various analytes. Aside from her main research focus she is, also, passionate about scientific outreach. Her microfluidic technology has been translated into educational activities to create hands-on learning experiences for undergraduate and gradate students. Her scientific outreach spans outside of the classroom with her management of the lab's Tiktok (@Scieneers) and Instagram (@thescieneers) pages which are aimed towards breaking down barriers to academia and making it more accessible.
