PhD Student Researcher
University of Washington
Wesley Fabyan is a PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Washington. Wesley received his B.S. in Bioengineering from Harvard University where he worked in the Lewis Lab to develop a cardiac bioink for 3D bioprinting thick, aligned cardiac tissues in customized geometries. Wesley has also worked in industry performing discovery immunology and oncology research. In the Stevens Lab at the University of Washington, Wesley is combining genetic modulation techniques with novel 3D bioprinting technologies to spatially control gene patterning within artificial liver tissue.
