Bing Han, Ph.D, Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Mathematics, Morgan State University, MD, USA
Bing Han got his Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Dynamics) at Saitama University, Japan. His Ph.D thesis focuses on flow phenomena within distal human lung region under various ventilation patterns including High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV). Later on, he studied on supersonic microflow as a postdoc at Toyota Technological Institute, and quantified the boundary layer distribution in supersonic gas flow in microduct. After working for an IT company in Japan for 3 years, Bing Han successively joined in the University of Iowa and Morgan State University as a postdoctoral researcher, he has been working on a joint grant by the two universities to date, focusing on computational fluid dynamics in lung model and animal lung experiment.
