Victor TSUI, P.E. MSc, PhD Student of University of North Dakota
Mr. Victor Tsui has over 30 years of professional experience in the biotechnology industry from technical engineer to leadership responsibilities. Victor is co-founder of Powder Pharmaceuticals for Lidocaine Needle-free Intradermal Injector manufacturing company. He has successfully set up and obtained FDA approval of the first NDA drug/medical device GMP manufacturing facility in Hong Kong. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked for various pharmaceuticals companies in the San Francisco Bay Area such as Anesiva, Vaxgen, Solstice Neuroscience, and Elan Pharmaceuticals. He was the editor of PDA Technical Report 48 for "Moist Heat Sterilizer Systems: Design, Commissioning, Operation, Qualification and Maintenance" and ASME Bioprocessing Equipment 2002 standard for design and surface finish sections. He has published papers in PDA Journal of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology "Leachables Evaluation for Bulk Drug Substance" and Journal of Validation Technology "A Practical Approach to Steam Autoclave Cycle Development". He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Chemical Engineering. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnics University and University of Wisconsin, Platteville, Wisconsin with a master’s degree of science in Engineering. He also obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science and certificate in project management. He is pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering program with the University of North Dakota.
