Nicholas Lamson, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Dr. Paula Hammond at the the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying electrostatically assembled nanoparticles for drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier. Previously, he completed his Ph.D. in lab of Dr. Kathryn Whitehead at Carnegie Mellon university, studying manipulation of tight junctions in the intestinal epithelium for oral drug delivery applications.
