Bailey H. Duhon, M.Sc. is a Research Associate in the Division of Otology, Neurotology, and Cranial Base Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is also pursuing his Doctorate of Medicine at UT Health Houston’s McGovern Medical School. Before joining Dr. Yin Ren’s group at OSU, Bailey earned his master’s degree from Texas A&M University School of Medicine where he studied lymphatic physiology. Since joining the Ren laboratory, Bailey has focused on studying the interplay between the immune system and tumor microenvironment in a variety of skull base tumors. More specifically, he is co-leading projects to identify molecular markers of tumor aggressiveness that can be identified using preoperative diagnostic modalities to aid in surgical planning and improve patient outcomes.
