Learn how you can advance your future in medical device innovation and healthcare design with Johns Hopkins University’s master’s program in bioengineering innovation and design
The bioengineering innovation and design master’s program (CBID) at Johns Hopkins University trains student innovators to develop healthcare technology solutions to address unmet clinical needs. As one of the Johns Hopkins Department of Biomedical Engineering’s #1-ranked graduate programs, the CBID program offers students the opportunity to work with clinicians at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and other stakeholders in the medical device space. The program focuses on three main areas: medical device design, clinical immersion, and global health. Students pursue two projects during the one-year program: an advanced health project catering to developed markets and a global health project for Lower- & Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The CBID program prepares students for success in a variety of careers in academia, the medtech industry, consulting, and startups.
