In this session, we will discuss educational and curricular elements of a $20M national initiative to improve the cybersecurity of medical device design through development of shared course modules and coordinated curricula for teaching medical device cybersecurity engineering. We will also discuss an emerging framework for academic institutions to provide co-op opportunities for their students with medical device manufacturers, health care delivery organizations, and federal regulators.
