In this session, we will highlight the work of tissue engineering for endocrine tissue function. We will showcase the key needs and what makes engineering endocrine function different than many other tissues common to the field of TE. We will cover why we need to advocate for the need for such research, highlight disparities in research, including racial/ethnic, gender/sex, LGBTQ health.
