Join the BMES Diversity Committee for our signature LGBTQIA & Friends Dessert social event! This event aims to bring together, celebrate, and amplify the voices of the LGBTQIAinBME community. We will feature an invited keynote speaker(s) to share their personal & personal perspectives, highlight issues and concerns pertinent to the community–both within academia and/or more broadly at large–and best practices/strategies for uplifting our members. The remainder of the event will offer informal networking and socializing over dessert to provide an inclusive space for members across all career stages to connect during the Annual Meeting.
