Discussion: Through iterative design and fabrication, we have successfully inched forward towards the development of the Illuminex system, achieving significant advancements in retinal electrodiagnostic testing. Our findings demonstrate improved uniformity and precision in luminance measurement compared to previous methods. The modular design of Illuminex enables ease of assembly, modification, and scalability. Additionally, our evaluations have highlighted the system's potential to simplify testing procedures, reduce manual labor, and enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Conclusion: The design, fabrication, and evaluation of Illuminex have yet yielded promising results in the field of retinal electrodiagnostic testing. By addressing the limitations of existing methods, Illuminex offers a more efficient and reliable approach for assessing retinal function. Further validation and clinical studies are warranted to establish its effectiveness in diagnosing retinal conditions and monitoring disease progression. Illuminex has the potential to revolutionize the field of ophthalmology and improve patient care by providing a standardized, user-friendly, and accurate testing platform.
